A skin disease commonly seen on face, especially on the forehead, nose, chin, and cheeks. Initially developing in the form of mild redness and burning sensation, the disease is accompanied by edema as well as blushing or flushing, and apparent blood vessels in the face. Though it seems like acne in its initial phase, it is different. While the real causes are not known, it is more likely to develop in people with a genetic story. Likewise, it is also assumed to be viral. Moreover, some other factors such as the eating habits, alcohol consumption, and stress may also trigger the disease.
